Every day we see the impact of systemic oppression and how it negatively impacts the people we know and love. We see the pain, hurt, anger, guilt, and outrage over a broken system. This cannot continue. All of these feelings are also a call for unity and action. We seek to recognize the pain and remember with conviction the injustices we need to address to lift our community up and work towards the equality we wish so fervently was embedded in our culture.
At Groupworks, we are committed to diversity and inclusion and feel it is important to have tough conversations. Tough conversations help us grow as we strive to create a brave, safe space for our clients to explore their identifies and talk about where they came from, who they are, and who they want to be. We feel this is impossible without creating space for the importance of justice in our society.
