Jack McPadden, MA

I am a Doctoral Practicum Student in the School of Professional Psychology at Spalding University, where I am studying to receive my Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology. Before moving to Louisville, I was born and raised in Massachusetts, where I attended Clark University and received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. After graduating from Clark, I worked in both inpatient and community-based behavioral health programs. These opportunities strengthened my passion for psychology, leading me to move to Louisville to attend Spalding University. Since beginning my education at Spalding, I have continued to work with clients from a wide range of communities. I have worked especially with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship concerns, as well as ADHD, autism, and other forms of neurodiversity. I begin my work with clients by recognizing that each person brings a unique experience and is the expert on their own life; my role is to collaborate with each person to help them identify and achieve their goals to improve mental health and overall well-being.
